Justin Eugene Elder, age 29 pf Taylorsville, was placed in custody on Saturday. He’s charged with felony probation violation. Elder was convicted in November for felony possession of methamphetamine and given an 18-month suspended sentence in Alexander County Superior Court. As of earlier today, Elder remains in the County Detention Center with bond listed at $10,000.
