A Taylorsville man is serving an active prison sentence after having his probation revoked. 47-year-old Kristofer Dale Williams was admitted to the Greene Correctional Institute in Maury N.C. on July 6th. Williams was convicted in 2024 for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance in Alexander County. He was given a suspended sentence. While on probation Williams was arrested on June 4th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense. Following a court appearance the probation was revoked sending him to prison for 19 months.
