Cody Allen Dewayne Kidd, age 36 of Taylorsville, was arrested on January 3rd. He’s charged with assault on a female and parole violation. Kidd was released from prison in July after serving nine months after being convicted of obtaining property by false pretense in Catawba County. As of earlier today, Kidd remained in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
