He was taken into custody on Thursday for felony probation violation and served an arrest warrant after missing a court date.
Cook has a number of pending charges in Alexander County that include felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, speeding and driving without without a license. He also has a charge pending for speeding in Caldwell County.
Cook remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $30,500. His next court date in Taylorsville is set for March 21st.
