Taylorsville Man Out Of Prison Less Than A Year Arrested Again On Monday

Probation and Parole Officers arrested Ky Allen Oxentine, age 34 of Taylorsville, on Monday. He was charged with felony probation violation. Oxentine is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Previous charges against Oxentine are pending that include hit and run-leaving scene of an accident with property damage, failure to report an accident and driving with license revoked. Those charges are scheduled for trial on May 20th in Taylorsville.

Oxentine has a long criminal history. He was released from prison in November, 2023 after serving a 14 month sentence for safecracking, larceny and obtaining property by false pretense.
