Taylorsville Man Nabbed In Hickory

Hickory Police arrested 31-year old Ronnie William McCurdy of Taylorsville on Saturday. He was charged with possession of schedule IV controlled substance. He was also served warrants for failing to appear in court on charges that include felony trafficking methamphetamine. McCurdy was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $$6,000. Court appearances are scheduled today and Tuesday in Newton.
