A Taylorsville man was killed in an accident in Hickory on Saturday.
A motorcycle driven by Sean Darrel Vardell, 38, of Taylorsville collided with a Lexus SUV just before 5pm on North Center Street according to Hickory Police.
Vardell was taken by Catawba County EMS to Frye Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Lexus was identified as Choeum-Mach Chang, 53, of Hickory. The investigation is ongoing.
