Granite Falls Man Jailed On Sunday In Alexander County…Updated

Dallas James McDaniel, age 23 of Granite Falls, was arrested Sunday. He was charged with vandalism with damage to personal property, probation violation and resisting arrest. McDaniel is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

McDaniel has a long list of previous charges pending in Alexander, Catawba, Lincoln and Caldwell Counties.

In January while McDaniel went to sleep and was cited for snoring by an Alexander County District Court judge. He was charged with contempt and sentenced to 15 days in detention.
