Taylorsville Man Jailed For Violation Of Sex-Offender Status

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37-year old James Fenton Leatham of Taylorsville on Friday, April 30th and charged with violation of his sex-offender status. Leatham was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center. He was later released under a secured bond of $10,000 and was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday.

Leatham was convicted in Alexander County in 2016 for indecent liberties with a minor.
