Taylorsville Man Jailed For Violating Court Order

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 39-year old James Kenneth Barnette of Taylorsville on Wednesday. An order for arrest had been handed down by a judge for violation of a court order. Barnette is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.

In February, Barnette was arrested for allegedly firing shots into an occupied home. He fled the scene and was tracked by an Alexander County K9 unit.
