Taylorsville Man Jailed For Second Week In A Row

Jeffrey Ray Minton, age 51 of Taylorsville, was arrested in the pre-dawn hours of Monday, November 7th by Taylorsville Police. He is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree trespass. Minton was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond. He was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court later in the day.

Minton was arrested last week by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on warrants from Iredell County. The outstanding charges were for vandalism and damage to real property.
