Carlos Alberto Gonzalez-Marquez, age 26 of Taylorsville, is serving a jail sentence after entering a guilty plea in Alexander County District Court on Monday. The charges included violation of a domestic violence protection order, injury to real property and assault on a law enforcement officer. A judge ordered him to serve 150 days in the Alexander County Detention Center. Gonzalez-Marquez was arrested on January 29th by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies.
