Matthew Scott Johnson, age 40 of Taylorsville was arrested Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, Taylorsville Police, and the Office of Probation and Parole. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury, obstructing and delay, and felony probation violations. Johnson remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $35,000. No court date is listed.
