Devon Christopher Weiss, 26, of Taylorsville, is listed in Catawba County custody. He has been indicted by a Catawba County Grand Jury after being charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense. Weiss is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. A March 9th court date is scheduled in Newton.
