Elliott Ray Adkins, 45 of Taylorsville, was placed in custody on Friday. He’s charged in Catawba County with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Adkins is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $6,000.
