John Randall Petty, age 42 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody on April 17th and served a warrant for felony probation out of county. The charge dates back to 2022. Petty remains in the Alexander County Detention Center as of earlier today with a secured bond set at $8,500. He is scheduled for an Alexander County District Court today.
