Emmanuel James Saddler, age 29 of Taylorsville, is in Catawba County custody following his arrest on Saturday. He was detained by Long View Police and charged with disorderly conduct, assault on a government official and resisting arrest. As of earlier today, Saddler remains in the Catawba County Detention Center without bond. A District Court appearance is set for today.
