As the result of an Alexander County Superior Court appearance last week, a Taylorsville man will spending time in jail. 41-year old Jamie Dale Mecimore was sent to detention as the result of a pair of probation violations dating back to 2022. A judge sentenced Mecimore to serve 240 days in the County Detention Center.
