Russell Gene Williams, age 36 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday, April 26th by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Williams is a felon based on a 2008 conviction in Wilkes County for felony larceny. He has been released under a secured bond of $20,000 and was scheduled to make an Alexander County District Court appearance on Monday.
