Taylorsville Man Facing Multiple Charges In Catawba County

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Dexton Markez Banner of Taylorsville on Tuesday, March 22nd. He was served warrants from Catawba County for failure to appear. The charges are from 2024 for felony possession of schedule II control substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served a Catawba County warrant for failing to appear on a charge of shoplifting. Banner has been transferred to the Catawba County Detention Center.

A Superior Court Date in Newton is scheduled for June 23rd.
