Lonnie Jay Owens II of Taylorsville was taken into custody on Tuesday, May 9th by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Owens has been released under a secured bond of $1,500 and is scheduled for court on June 5th. Charges that include larceny, second-degree trespass and probation violations are also pending and are scheduled for Monday, May 15th in Alexander County District Court.
