Taylorsville Man Facing Felony Drug Charges

A Taylorsville man is facing a long list of charges include felony drug-related offenses following his Friday arrest. Alexander County Deputies have charged 47-year-old Marty Allen Teague of Confederate DR with the following

Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine (15 grams)
Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Misdemeanor possession of schedule IV controlled substance
Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Misdemeanor driving with license revoked
Misdemeanor fictitious title/registration/tag
Possession of open container of alcohol in passenger area

Teague is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center and is scheduled to make an initial court appearance in Taylorsville on Monday.

The suspect has an extensive criminal history that include multiple convictions and has served multiple prison sentences.
