59-year old Myron Paul Jones of Taylorsville was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of earlier today, Jones remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $5,000. A Monday, May 1st court date is scheduled.
