30-year old Alex Lee Hampton of Taylorsville was arrested on Catawba County warrants on Thursday. Alexander County Deputies located Hampton and served the warrant for failing to appear. Hampton has a long list of pending charges in Alexander County that include felony possession of a firearm by a felon. He also has charges awaiting trial in Iredell County. Hampton is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $4,000. Court dates are scheduled on the various charges for March 13th, March 20th and April 6th.
