A Taylorsville man is facing a series of charges following a traffic stop. Officers with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle at the intersection of US 64 and Liledoun Road on Monday due to an improper tag being displayed.41-year-old Adam Colby Starnes was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear, driving with a suspended license, and an improper tag. Starnes was confined in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $8,500. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 29th in Taylorsville.
