Luke Everett Howell, 21 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Monday and served warrants for failure to appear. The charges date to 2023 when Howell was charged with child abuse. He was also charged with probation violation and criminal contempt. Howell remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $9,000.
