37-year old Christopher Jay Garrett of Taylorsville was placed in custody on January 24th. He is charged with two counts of larceny by changing price tag and probation violation. He remains as of earlier today, in the Alexander County Detention Center and is scheduled to make a court appearance of February 5th.
