As the result of Alexander County Deputies responding to a report of vandalism, a Taylorsville man is in custody. Charles David Douglas, age 56 is charged with vandalism with damage to real property, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Douglas is being held in the county detention center under a bond of $15,000.
