Taylorsville Man Detained For Felony Probation

A Taylorsville man who served a stretch in jail last year has been arrested on the same charge.

Joseph Elwood Jones, age 45, was placed in custody on Tuesday. He was charged with felony probation violation and jailed under a $10,000 secured bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Jones was sent to jail for 90 days in August, 2023 for probation violation.
