Taylorsville Man Charged With Obstructing Investigation

Robert Alan Goins II, age 53 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Thursday, May 2nd by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with obstructing and resisting arrest. He has been released on bond.

The charges are related to the arrest of his son Robert Alan Goins III earlier this month. The younger Goins was charged on April 8th after a pipe bomb was located at a residence south of Taylorsville. Investigators also located stolen property in the residence at 73 Fowler Hill Rd.
