Taylorsville Man Charged With Not Attending To His Animals

The owner of the afore mentioned animals didn’t comply and now he’s in custody.

44-year-old Walter Curtis Childers of Taylorsville was arrested in the pre-dawn hours today by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with misdemeanor counts of allowing livestock to run at large and domestic fowl running at large. Allegedly, Childers had been cautioned about his animals trespassing on neighboring property. As of this report, Childers remains in custody with a court date scheduled for May 4th in Alexander County District Court.
