Taylorsville Man Charged With Felony Child Exploitation Offenses

Another Alexander County man has been arrested and charged with alleged crimes involving child pornography.

On Thursday, Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested 38-year old Brandon Edward Coulbourn of Little River Estates DR, Taylorsville. He is charged with five-counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges are related to the suspect being in possession of material containing a visual representation of prepubescent females, ages 6-12 engaging in sexual acts with adults.

Coulbourn has an extensive history of convictions for crimes that include felony trafficking cocaine, felony obtaining property by false pretense. Because of his criminal history, Coulbourn is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.
