Taylorsville Man Charged With Death By Distribution Scheduled For Court Today

A Taylorsville Man charged with death by distribution is scheduled for a court appearance today in Alexander County District Court.

Jacob Isaiah Parson, age 24, was already in custody on a pair of felony probations last Thursday when the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office charged him with felony death by distribution. The charge dates to 2023 when 20-year old Jezlyn Faith Parson was found dead. An autopsy confirmed her death by drug overdose. Jacob Parson is alleged to have provided the drugs.

Parson remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $530,000.
