Hubert Lee Carlton, 64, of Taylorsville, was arrested Friday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Carlton allegedly struck a victim with a baseball bat. He is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.
