Ky Allen Oxentine, age 34 of Taylorsville, was arrested by Conover Police on Wednesday, May 29th. He’s charged with shoplifting and concealment of goods and misdemeanor larceny. Oxentine was arrested in Alexander County on April 15th for a felony probation violation. He also has a pending charge in Alexander County for hit and run with property damage and driving with license revoked. The suspect is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a court appearance set for today in Newton.
