Taylorsville Man Busted On Felony Drug Charges

An Alexander County man is custody after being charged with felony drug offenses this morning.

Conover Police have charged Toby Ryan Bentley, age 44 of Payne’s Dairy RD, with

Felony possession of methamphetamine
Maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Felony Identity theft
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Driving with license revoked
Multiple other traffic related offenses

Bentley is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center. He is expected to appear before a judge today in a first court appearance.
