Taylorsville Man Busted On Felony Drug Charges

Reuben David Barnes, 38, of Old Wilkesboro Road, Taylorsville, was arrested on Friday, February 6th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with the following

Felony Possession of methamphetamine
Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Felony probation violation
Possession of schedule VI controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia

Barnes is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond. He is listed on probation based on previous drug-related convictions.

A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, February 9th in Taylorsville.
