Taylorsville Man Busted Again For Violating Sex-Offender Status

Alexander County Deputies arrested Richard Eugene Stikeleather, age 68 of Taylorsville on Monday. He’s charged with two counts of failure to notify law enforcement of an address change as a registered sex-offender and two counts of registered sex-offender near restricted property. Stikeleather is being held in the Alexander County Detention under a secured bond of $105,000.

Stikeleather served 30 months in prison following a Catawba County conviction in 2011 for indecent liberties with a minor. He was also charged in May for violating his registered sex-offender status.
