Taylorsville Man Back In Custody

Probation and Parole Officers in Alexander County arrested 32-year old Alex Lee Hampton of Taylorsville on Wednesday, April 23rd. He’s charged with felony probation violation and remains in custody under a secured bond of $10,000.

Hampton has a 2023 charge pending in Alexander County for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation. He was also charged with defrauding a drug/alcohol test earlier this year.

Hampton has a long list of prior convictions on charges that include financial card fraud, assault, assault on a female, breaking and entering, larceny and resisting arrest.
