Taylorsville Man Back In Custody

Chad Vance Hill, age 52 of Sugar Loaf Ln., Taylorsville, was apprehended by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, August 7th. He’s charged with assault on a female, crime of domestic violence and communicating threats. Following a 48-hour hold, bond was set on Monday by a judge at $20,000.

Hill has an extensive criminal history. His latest stint in prison ended in 2025 after serving 6 months for parole revocation and possession of schedule II controlled substance.
