A Taylorsville man is in Catawba County custody. 27-year-old Zachary Evan Noriega, of Taylorsville Beach Ct., was arrested Thursday morning by the Hickory Police Department. He is charged with communicating threats and injury to real property. Noriega is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center and is scheduled to make an initial appearance in court today.
