Taylorsville Man Arrested Overnight On Felony Meth Charge

On Tuesday Evening, March 15th, an Alexander County Patrol Deputy stopped to investigate a suspicious person walking on foot on NC 90 East in Hiddenite. The individual was identified as Christopher Lynn Bailey, age 48 of Taylorsville. Bailey was confirmed to have an outstanding warrant for Failing to Appear in court on a larceny charge. Bailey was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant.

Further investigation revealed that Bailey was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bailey was also charged with the drug possession offenses and given a bond of $8,000.00 secured with a court date set for April 19th.
