36-year-old Steven Deon Willis of Taylorsville was arrested overnight by Hlickory Police. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and multiple counts of larceny. Willis was also served Alexander County warrants, some dating back to 2023 for larceny, possession of stolen goods and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect is being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail with a court appearance scheduled for today in Newton.
