Taylorsville Man Arrested On Multiple Charges In Two Counties

On Wednesday, April 10th, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year old Samuel Ray Lear of Taylorsville. He was charged with assault on female and interfere with emergency communication. Lear was also served Iredell County warrants for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false information to a law enforcement officer. As of earlier today, Lear remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $7,500.

An April 15th court date is scheduled in Iredell County. May 21st is listed as an Alexander County court date.
