The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chad Edward Simpson, age 42, Crouch Rd., Taylorsville, on Monday. He is charged with felon maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Simpson was placed in the county detention center with a secured bond listed at $10,000.
