Taylorsville Man Arrested On Felony Drug Charge

Mark Wesley Clanton, age 50 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clanton is being held in the County Detention Center and is scheduled for a court appearance on Monday, June 24th.

Clanton has a previous charge of felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle charge pending in Alexander County that scheduled for court on August 5th.
