Paul Manuel Payne
Payne was jailed on Wednesday after missing Catawba County Court dates dating to September, 2022. He was arrested by Hickory Police at that time for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana and misdemeanor child abuse. As of earlier today, Payne was being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $25,000. He will transferred to Catawba County custody.
