Taylorsville Man Arrested For Sex-Offender Violation

Marcelino Miguel Diaz, 79 of Taylorsville, was arrested overnight and charged with two counts of failure to notify law enforcement of an address change as a registered sex-offender. He’s being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Diaz was convicted in Alexander County in 2019 for indecent liberties with a minor.
