Officers of the Office of Probation and Parole arrested 42-year old Teng Yang of Taylorsville on Sunday, May 19th. He was charged with felony probation out-of-county. The charge is from Iredell County. Yang has previous convictions for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and is serving a suspended sentence of 24 months that began in 2023. As of earlier today, Yang remained in the Alexander County Jail with a bond listed at $15,000. A June 3rd court date is scheduled.
