Taylorsville Man Arrested By Longview Police

Longview Police arrested Ethan Lee Cook, age 21 of Taylorsville, on Wednesday. He’s charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation and felony probation violation. Cook is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center. A December 18th court date is scheduled in Newton.

In Alexander County, Cook is awaiting trial on charges that include possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of driving with license revoked. His next court date in Taylorsville is scheduled for February 5th.
